The formerly unreleased Single from the fifth and final Visage album 'Demons To Diamonds'
'Before You Win' was scheduled to be released as a single in 2015 in aftermath of Steve Stranges death. It Features vocals from Steve Strange, and it was part of the album he was working on with Visage prior to his untimely death which shocked the world in Feb 2015.
Steve Strange & Visage began working on their follow up album to 2013 "Hearts And Knives" in spring 2014. With over 15 songs written and scheduled the band had recorded just over half when Steve sadly died on Feb 12th 2015. After the shock of losing their leader the band rather than leave the album uncompleted decided to persevere and complete the album. The result is a lasting legacy to one of the UKs most creative music and fashion icons of recent years.
'Before You Win' is an uptempo pop-rock stomper. Setting the scene for their final album it was the opener and band favorite. Here it is presented in extended version by co-producer John Bryan who features a 25 piece string section to increase the drama (something Steve himself would always insist on). The new extended version also features an electronic interlude and excerpt 'New Age Of Electronic Music'. Rounding things off is an electronic take from Paragon Cause.
